CHICAGO THE MUSICAL at London’s Cambridge Theatre is the show that has it all.
Most of us have seen the film, it's a great show with some of the best choreography in London West End, originally directed by Bob Fosse.
The show has the simplest of sets but oozes class, CHICAGO is always very popular and has be selling tickets now for over 12 years.
CHICAGO is here to stay and the Cambridge Theatre makes a perfect home for the smash hit musical!

“What is remarkable about Chicago - apart from the cast somehow contriving to bump and grind their way through such sensationally erotic dance routines without getting arrested - is just how uplifting this black-as-pitch tale proves to be.
There is scarcely a single generous sentiment in Chicago. It presents a story, to quote its own prologue, of "murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery and treachery - all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts"; and the result of this malign cynicism is sheer theatrical bliss. Chicago is emphatically a musical for grown-ups and it offers entertainment at its most dangerously alluring.
The company performs near the edge of the stage or on ladders at the side of the proscenium, creating a feeling of claustrophobicly confined energy, fitting for a show set in a prison and a court of law. In most women's prisons the inmates do not spend all day prowling around in a sensational selection of provocative black lingerie but who is complaining? Certainly not your happy voyeur in the stalls. The choreography - by Ann Reinking but based on the work of her mentor and lover Bob Fosse - is full of teasing pelvic thrusts, delicious shimmies, and sheer in-your-face attitude. The Cell Block Tango for merry murderesses is laugh-out-loud funny.
