I went to see the out of town Warm Up for Blithe Spirit in Milton Keynes. The cast were all brilliant, especially Alison Steadman as Madam Arcati. We laughed from start to finish - thoroughly enjoyable!!! A great night out.

This was the first time my wife and I had attended the theatre for a play rather than a musical. We chose BLITHE SPIRIT as it is a story that we were familiar with as the film is a favourite of ours. Impressed is an understatement, I could fill the page with superlatives. From the moment we walked into the foyer we felt that we were part of an event rather than just coming to see a play. The front of house staff were superb. As for BLITHE SPIRIT itself, well, yes we laughed out loud the whole way through and when Elvira appeared it was a spine tingling moment. The characters were played with passion and this gave them credibility. Our congratulations the actors for a superb performance and also to the technical staff for the lighting and effects. An excellently staged show that has inspired us to visit the theatre again as soon as possible.

Just to thank Hit The Theatre for arranging such good seats for the two London Shows Dreamboats and Petticoats and Blithe Spirit (LINK). We both enjoyed them and were excellent productions. I cannot understand why the critics did not like Blithe Spirit it was great.
